1. wiggle room: 자유재량권, 조정의 여지, 해석의 폭
A: We need to get everything done by next Friday.
B: Oh, it's a tight schedule. Is there any wiggle room there? 일정에서 살짝 조정이 가능한지
- We don't have much wiggle room on the price, but I can give you an extra 5% off.
가격을 많이는 조정할 수는 없지만 5% 추가 할인

2. It's a process. 
그냥 하루아침에 되는 게 아니야/과정이니 시간이 걸려.

3. It's a lot to process.
1) 벅찰 정도로 많거나 어려운 정보
- 이것저것 많은 걸 알려주며 I know that's a lot to process.
2) 특히 감정적인 얘기라 바로 받아들이기 힘들 때
- My parents' divorce was a lot to process. 감당하기 벅찼어.

4. outstanding: 아직 처리되지 않은, 미지불의
- Your holiday numbers were outstanding.
실적이 뛰어날 때
- Does anyone have any outstanding issues?
아직 해결되지 않은 사안이 있나요?

5. work around the clock: 24시간 계속, 쉬지 않고
- We'll work around the clock to get this taken care of.
이걸 처리하기 위해 쉬지 않고 일할게요.

6. That's a fair question. 충분히 그 점이 궁금할 수 있겠네.

7. Fair enough 알겠어/그럴 수도 있겠다
A: Maybe you're right, but I need to think.
B: Fair enough.

8. fair: 꽤, 제법 되는
- We've already invested a fair amount of time in this project.
이미 꽤 많은 시간을 이 프로젝트에 투자했잖아.
- We've already spent a fair amount of money on this.
여기에 이미 꽤 많은 돈을 투자했어.

9. be on board: 동참/동의하다
- I'm on board if you are on board. 네가 하면 나도 찬성/너 하면 나도 할게.

10. be on the same page: ~에 대해 같은 생각/이해하고 있는 내용이 같다
- 문제없이 내가 설명하는 걸 잘 이해하고 따라오고 있는지 확인차 물어볼 때
Are we on the same page?

11. You'll get there. 원하는 수준/목표까지 도달할 거야.
A: So, are you on the same page? 
B: I'm getting there. I just have one more question. 거의요.

12. close a deal 계약 체결, 협상을 마무리하다
- Did we close the deal? 계약 체결됐어?

13. be further along than ~보다 더 진척되다/나아가다
- We're so much further along than we were before.
전보다 훨씬 더 많이 일이 진척/나아가고 있다.
- We need to make sure we're on the same page 
because it will be hard to make changes once we're further along in the process.
더 일이 진척되면 뭔가를 변경하기가 힘드니 바꿀 게 있거나 의견이 다른 부분이 있다면 지금 얘기해야 해.

14. by now: 지금쯤(이면 이미)
A: I thought you'd be further along by now. 지금쯤이면 훨씬 더 많이 진척되었을 거라 생각했는데.
B: Sorry, I had a few outstanding issues to take care of. 죄송해요. 해결 안 된 문제 좀 처리하느라요.

15. reiterate: (강조) 반복, 되풀이하다
- I want to reiterate how grateful I am.
얼마나 감사한지 다시 한번 말씀드리고 싶어요.

16. bring up: 언급하다, (말을) 꺼내다
- Just to reiterate our strategy, stick to the positives unless he brings up the negatives.
전략을 다시 한번 말씀드리자면, 그가 부정적인 걸 얘기하지 않는 한 좋은 점만 얘기해요.

22. take it down a notch (정도를) 한 단계 낮추다, 진정하다

23. take it up a notch: 정도/수준을 한 단계 더 끌어올리다
1) 노력의 정도를 올려 더 열심히 해보자

30. rough patch: 힘든 시기

힘든 시기를 겪고 있으니 그들의 상황을 염두에 둘 필요가 있다고 생각해요.

32. get the point across: 핵심/요점/의미를 전달하다

제대로 내 뜻을 전달하기 위해서 일부러 그 단어를 사용했어.

33. accountable: 책임이 있는, 해명/설명/보고할 의무가 있는

상황이 안 좋아지면 네게 책임을 물을 거야.
